Important deal
Now I’ll
discuss the deal between FC Barcelona and the Chinese company Intersports.
The 29th of October 2011, FC Barcelona and the Chinese company Intersports
closed the deal.
They did this to promote Barca and the club’s values in the
Chinese market.
All through the signing, which was attended by the Intersports President
Heifeng Xia and the Club President Sandro Rossel, the Club’s marketing director
Laurent Colette and Jun Chen, the general manager of Intersports. The strategic
priority of the Chinese market for the Club was stressed.
Barca feeling
The club President Sandro Rosell believes that the agreement between the club
and the Peking Municipal company Intersports is: “the first step towards
developing a Barça feeling in Asia”
President Sandro Rosell believes the deal will create a permanent link with
the Chinese society, so that all who wish to can share the FC Barcelona values.
Sandro Rosell also said that some of the players from the club would be
visiting China at the of November. Sandro wants to take it a step at a time, so
the new generations of Chinese citizens understands what the Barca feeling is.
He hopes that when the Chinese boys and girls think of football they will
remember Barca.
Heifeng Xia said that they chose for FC Barcelona as a partner because,
they think FC Barcelona is the best team in the world and the Birds Nest
stadium is the best ground in the world. He wanted the best team in the best
stadium.
