In this weblog I will discuss the charity work that FC Barcelona does.
FC Barcelona has supported the following charities: Pies Descalzos and UNICEF.

Pies Descalzos improves education, nutrition, and the lives of the thousands of displaced children living in perilous conditions because of the violent internal conflict in Colombia.

Unicef provides Health, Education, Equality, Protection for every child.

FC Barcelona supported the following Causes Adoption, Fostering, Orphans, Children, Education, Health, Human Rights, Poverty.

Famous celebrity like  Brad Pitt, Susan Sarandon, Natasha Bedingfield, Angelina Jolie, Barack Obama, Sting, Oprah and Alicia Keys support Adoption, Fostering, Orphans.

Changing image

By doing a good cause, they will change the image that people have of FC Barcelona.

They will see that FC Barcelona cares about children in need, but also people that live a difficult life.

On the sixteenth of December 2011, Barca, QSI and Qatar Foundation raised 1.15 million dollar for charity.

Four VIP tickets for the Barça v Madrid match, a private visit to the Museum, a signed shirt and one of the match balls were sold at auction.

The profits will go to Reach Out To Asia (ROTA), a Qatari charity that promotes education among underprivileged communities.

Most of the times persons and organizations raise charity’s to change their image, attitude that people have about them it.
